Forums – contemporary Alexandria

The residencies outcomes will be showcased through a series of forums. Each participating partner will organize a forum (visual showcase and/or public debates) and will involve local audiences and, artists, scientists and students as well as local and national policy-makers.

The expected outcome of the forum are:

• To increase networking and market opportunities for artists;
• To increase visibility for the works of artists;
• To make citizens more aware of the positive impact of art interventions on urban and heritage contexts;
• To raise awareness on the actual condition and the reality of urban and societal challenges existing in Alexandria and beyond

Dates of Forums and showcases are :

• 17 – 26 June 2022 : Showcase for the School of Sonic Memory Residency: Onassis Stegi foundation – Athens (Greece)

• 14 – 16 July 2022 : Showcase of the Caravan Residency: Cittadellarte –  Biella (Italy)

• 9 – 10 December 2022 : Public showcase: Caravan Residency “Unfolding Mediterranean Sediments”: Onassis Stegi – Athens (Greece)

• 7 – 13 February 2023 : Joint public showcase and event: Caravan and School for Sonic Memory Residencies : Mucem – Marseille (France)

• Spring 2023 : Visual Showcase and Event : Caravan and School for Sonic Memory Residencies : Kunsthal – Aarhus (Denmark)

• June 2023 : Visual Showcase and Event : Caravan and School for Sonic Memory Residencies : Institut Français – Alexandria (Egypt)
